    Couldn't find one vintage, but found them new. You need a rack already on your bike. You also would have to buy these for each side you wanted them on. But they are steel, made in the good old US of A, durable, and extremely practical. You can even get them direct from the manufacturer for $24 for one or $44 for 2, see last link.

    That's the exact opposite of dork, as far as I'm concerned. Nothing wrong with a one-speed Schwinn. Or the basket.

    I've had the same Schwinn bike (from Wal-Mart) since I was thirteen. I'm nineteen now and it's still in great shape. I don't think there's anything wrong with Wal-Mart bikes =)
