Question by nemahknatut88: Things to look for in bicycle grocery baskets and rear racks?
What should I watch out for (so that I know it fits, etc.)? Any tips?

In a rear rack you want one with three posts coming down from the rack. This will give you maximum hauling capability - stronger. Wald makes some nice grocery baskets. But, to tell you the truth, if I had to do it all over again - I think I would get grocery panniers that can be taken off when not in use. Fold out grocery baskets are there 100% of the time. 1st link below is my bike. Other links are for for racks, baskets & panniers.

- Gloss white finish is powder coated to provide superior corrosion resistance
- Front basket
- 14.5" x 9.5" x9"
- 2 mounting holes on legs, a large and a small.
We know you love the 133, 3133, and 157 baskets. But what happens when you want to haul something that isn't overly large, but can really weigh you down? We thought you'd probably bust out a welding torch and tack a couple of legs on the 133 basket. So that's exactly what we did. The 135 is the exact same size as our popular 133 and 3133 baskets with shorter handlebar mounts and legs bolted to the bottom of the basket. Perfect for a couple of two liters, or a six-pack with some chips and salsa to go. Give us some Fat Tire Ale, Mission Restaurant Style Tortilla Triangles and Frog Ranch salsa any day!
